General Meeting #2

Rare Diseases are severely overlooked and underfunded in the medical space. Companies like Pfizer cut millions in funding away from their Rare Disease Research programs, setting back possible cures decades into the future. Additionally, rare disease research has routinely been cut and viewed as a non-essential governmental program. For more information on how you can help through writing letters to the CA Rare Disease Caucus and conducting research on gaps in state RD research policy, join us for our General Meeting 3. Additionally, Students For Rare is hosting new officer positions and committees allowing members greater involvement within our organization. Join us to learn about how you can apply to be an officer and join one of many committees. Also, bringing a friend to this event will give you a wildcard point which is good to cover any membership requirement you may be missing. The event will take place in Wellman 115, from 7:10 PM - 8:00 PM, on May 1st, 2023.
