Rare Disease Undergraduate Chapter at the University of California, Davis
To assure a future where rare diseases are not overlooked, in patient care, research, and drug development, SFR facilitates opportunities for students to learn about rare diseases and patient experiences. Students for Rare aims to reach the next generation of professionals, advocates, researchers, and medical professionals and spread awareness and recognition of rare diseases, establish professional relationships and partnerships, and pursue future opportunities within the rare disease space.

Students for Rare at UC Davis is affiliated with the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD), dedicated to promoting rare disorder awareness and education on campus, raising money to fund people affected by the disorders, and promoting awareness of ways to support NORD advocacy and educational initiatives on behalf of patients.
